Air Travelers (1996): Air Travelers is an introduction to the basic principles of buoyancy, properties of gases, temperature, and the technology involved in hot air ballooning. This resource is primarily for teachers in the upper elementary grades.
Heroes of Northwest Science (2004) Built in honor of the 2004 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), our Heroes of Northwest Science website puts the spotlight on students who participated in ISEF in past years, working scientists and science educators, and many more!
Oregon Brainstorms Partnership (1999): OBP is an online source of health and human biology units for teachers of grades 4-8. The units were developed by teams of 5th-grade teachers, research scientists, and science educators from OMSI.
Water Works (1996):
Explore the science and engineering behind water fountains at home or in the classroom with Water Works. The website has loads of fun and fascinating online activities, as well as helpful curriculum resources.
