OMSI Internships offer an exceptional and unique experience at a world-class science center. We offer customized, staff-level internships in a broad range of disciplines to qualified college students, recent graduates and graduate students. Internships are non-compensated, but the experience is invaluable. Interns are placed with enthusiastic mentors who can help them develop future job skills and discover the inner workings of a major museum.

Just send a letter of interest stating your internship goals, your desired time commitment and your availability to work. Internships run a minimum of eight weeks, and many are full or part-time for three to six months. The intern program is very competitive and the most successful interns will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to clearly articulate their goals. Many of our interns receive academic credit for their work. Please contact your advisor or department chair to inquire about your school's policy.
