Senior Science Days

Exercise your imagination at OMSI during seniors-only days. The museum will be all yours to explore! Stroll through our latest exhibit, take in a lab demo, see an OMNIMAX film, or talk with experts about science and technology issues that affect our everyday lives. Special lunch menu available in the Market Cafe.

• For ages 60+
• 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• Museum admission: $7 per person, FREE for OMSI members
• Reduced museum admission of $5 per person for groups of 12 or more (must register at least 14 days in advance, contact 503.797.4661 or email register@omsi.edu)
• OMNIMAX Dome Theater: $4 per person for noon showing

Exhibit: Designed to exercise the mind, OMSI's newest exhibit Mindbender Mansion is filled with games and brainteasers that are sure to challenge and entertain.

Lecture: What's Going To Happen To My TV Next February? Television is going digital in February 2009. OMSI experts discuss what changes you may need to make so that your TV will still work! (11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.)

Noon Movie: Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs

Exhibit: Da Vinci's genius comes to life! In our featured exhibit Da Vinci -- The Genius you can enjoy two floors of interactive reproductions of da Vinci's inventions and 3D plasma presentations of his paintings. Highlights include the Secrets of Mona Lisa Gallery, which features findings about the world's most famous painting that have startled the art world.
