This special laboratory enhances
Ends of the Earth, an OMSI featured exhibit beginning in late Oct. 27, 2007. The lab uses hands-on investigations and activities to explore themes of polar geography, polar wildlife and their adaptations, and the impact of climate change on these regions and their inhabitants.

Dinosaurs: China's Ancient Giants. This lab highlights themes of geologic time, fossilization, and how scientists and paleontologists use the stratification of sedimentary layers to investigate the pre-historic climates, flora and fauna in fossil form. Hands-on activities help students explore themes in geology and paleontology.
