5th Grade Science Day News!

This car in the bubble was at OMSI in the Turbine Hall.

This steam engine was made in 1890. When we first saw it, the man asked us if we wanted to see it work. So he honked the horn, and I jumped! Some cars had steam motors and furnace oil was 5 dollars. Some were driven coast to coast.

One girl we interviewed, made this boat. She said she took a rectangle sail, but it didn't go as fast. Then she tried to use the triangle sail. (which you see on the left.) And it worked super.
