Kitty Hawk Flyer Model

In honor of International Public Science Day, and the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' first flight, OMSI Physics Lab Volunteer Al Wick has been building a scale model of the Wright Brothers' Kitty Hawk flyer. As OMSI visitors looked on, Al and the other staff and volunteers in the lab used visitors' interest in the model to discuss the history and mechanics of powered flight.
